As part of the Emergency Department Renovation Improvement Project, we are pleased to share the delivery of two new heat exchanger units, a crucial component of the new cooling system for the recently installed Air Handling Unit.
Key Details About the Heat Exchanger Units:
Weight: Each unit weighs 5,221 lbs.
Function: These units support the newly installed cooling system, ensuring consistent temperature regulation in the new Ambulatory Assessment Area currently being constructed.
“The installation of these heat exchanger units is a significant step forward in the renovation process,” said Dan DeJonge, Project Manager Redevelopment. “Their role in the cooling system will ensure that the new Ambulatory Assessment Area space provides a comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors all year round.”
