The newly constructed Emergency Department Walk-in Entrance at Brantford General Hospital (BGH) is now open! Located on Terrace Hill Street and adjacent to the ambulance drop-off area, this new 24/7 entrance will positively enhance patient navigation and provide direct access to the Emergency Department (ED) at BGH.
Since the renovations began last year, all Emergency Department patients were directed to use the A-Wing entrance.
BGH Entrances Effective October 7, 2024:
- The newly constructed Emergency Department Walk-in Entrance is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are coming to the hospital and require emergency care, please use this entrance.
- All visitors and non-emergency patients are asked to enter through the A-wing, D-wing, or E-wing entrance.
- Please note that the A-wing, D-wing, and E-wing entrances are open between 5:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.. If you are visiting the hospital after hours, please enter through the Emergency Department Patient Walk-in Entrance.
